2026: Best Year or Just Another Year?
Here's the truth that changed my life: A goal without a process is just a wish.
Why Resolutions Fail 📉
Every January, millions of people set ambitious goals. Yet by February, most have abandoned them. Why? Because they focus only on the outcome and ignore what actually matters — the inputs.
When you say "I want to lose 20 kg," that's an output. It feels good to say it. It feels motivating. But it's incomplete. What's missing is the "how" — the actual process that will get you there.
The same applies to "I want to buy my first home." That statement is useless without understanding the inputs required.
Inputs, Not Outcomes 💪
Here's what most people get wrong: they set outcome-based goals and then wonder why motivation fizzles out. Motivation is short-lived. What actually works is focusing on the controllable actions — the inputs.
The Goal: Stay healthy and lose weight. 🏋️
The Wrong Way: "I want to lose 20 kg in 2026."
The Right Way: Exercise 4 days a week. Eat only 2 cheat meals per month. Complete 10,000 steps daily. Cut back on carbs and sugar.
See the difference? The second list contains actions you can control. Whether you lose 20 kg, 15 kg, or 12 kg, if you execute on these inputs consistently, you'll be significantly healthier. The weight loss becomes an obvious outcome, not a surprise.
The Why Still Matters ❤️
None of this works without a strong "why." Your why is your fuel. It's what gets you out of bed on a cold morning to exercise.
"I want to buy a home" is weak 😔
"I want to buy my first home so my family has stability, and retire rent & mortgage free" is strong 💪
Your why should be so compelling that the inputs feel like a privilege, not a burden.
Remember: You don't need a bigger dream. You need a better process. 📍
